After presiding and preaching at our Pentecost service, Pastor Margaret (Maggie) Hellert answered our second Parish Forum’s question: Who Are the Moravians? Pastor Maggie, now retired from parish ministry, serves as spiritual ‘companion’ to individuals and groups seeking discernment. Her inspiring homily demonstrated her spiritual depth. At the Forum she provided a brief historical account of the Moravians and highlighted their similarities to the Anglican Communion and Episcopal Church. Pastor Maggie frequents St. Brigid’s for Eucharist and for its warm welcoming spirit. Parish members all agree now that she speaks as well as she sings!
Our third and final Parish Forum Spring series will be on June 23rd, LGBTQIA+ — Everything You Wanted to Know and Were Afraid to Ask (starting with the initials), presented by Board Members of the Nazareth/Lehigh Valley Chapter of PFLAG. Forums follow the 10am service. All are welcome. One need attend the service to attend the forum. Come and see!
